Walk about it, talk about it!!!

Trevor, Sam, Jackson and I did the "Walk about it, talk about it" walk today. It was a GREAT event to bring awareness to eating disorders. We can't wait for next years event! Thanks to my cousin Kara for making us aware of the event!

First trip to the ocean

Thanksgiving was great in Ft. Lauderdale! Warm weather, great friends & first steps in the ocean!

It's offical

My 8 year old is one fast kid. He ran a road race this weekend. It was a one mile run. I could not keep up with him. His time was 6:33 for a mile......that's crusin'. He was the first boy in....Great job Sammy boy!

Jackson's first day of preschool

was Wednesday, Sept. 8.......He loved it and thought it was a little long..he was there for 2 1/2 hours ;)

1st place overall in the fun run

Sam was the first runner overall in the 1 mile fun run today! He did so awesome. He kept saying I even beat a 15 year old ;)

Storm last night

Here's a picture from the storm last night! We lost power for about 7 hours! The picture was taken on our deck.

Memorial Day Run

Here's a picture of the kiddos before the Boystown Run. The two older boys ran the 5 miler with myself, Michael and Tracy from CO. The younger kids ran the 1 miler. It was their first time running the race except Samuel, he's a pro ;)!!! It was a blast and a perfect day for a run!

Sam decided to create this for his Vday box at school. He did an awesome job. It's kinda hard to see there is an alien in the top of the spaceship!! Happy Valentine's Day!

I took the boys to see Santa today at The Durham Museum. They had a great time. Sam asked for golf clubs and Jackson said he liked cars.

12 years ago today :(

It's been 12 years ago today that my Mother passed away. I can't believe it's been that long, so much has happened. I miss her dearly and think of her every day. How I would love to be able to kiss her, hug her or just talk to her again. She was the BEST Mama in the whole world and I always say to myself, if I can be half the Mom she was I will be great ;)....I wish she could be with me today. I love you Mama!!!

SAM'S 7!!!!

I can't believe Sam turned 7 on Sept. 5th. He's getting so big and really likes doing a lot of different things. He's playing flag football now and loves school. I love you Sammy boy :)

The morning of the boys birthday we always go to the donut store and get donuts. We start their bday off by singing happy birthday to them!!! It's a fun tradition. They both get candles in their donuts.

Back to school in less than a week

Oh boy has the summer gone fast!! I can't believe it just seems like yesterday when we were going to Sam's last day of school party. The summer has been fun and eventful. We went to KC to see our dear friend Terri. We had a blast at the water park. Then we went to Adventureland in DesMoines always a favorite with the boys. Mark & I went camping for a weekend. It was relaxing but kinda chilly that weekend. That's been our summer in a nut shell :) Sam's looking forward to getting back to school to see all his friends. He's going to be in first grade!!

The Latest News!!!

Well, Jackson is now potty trained. Sam's on summer vacation and is having a great time! They both love going to the pool. I had my birthday on June 16th!!! We are getting ready for the 4th of July with friends and family. hmmm not too exciting is it???

Jackson is 3 "No more diapers"!!!

Jackson turned 3 on the 18th. We had a fun birthday party for him on the 19th. So now that he's three it's "no more diapers" we have been saying that for at least a month to him. He's doing sooooo good. Yesterday he was 5 for 6 on the potty! He's so smart and is getting it quickly! Love ya little guy. Sam's such a big helper too! Here's to "NO MORE DIAPERS"
