Sam's first snow day!

Sam had his first snow day yesterday. He was so excited. They went to Jennifer's for a Chirstmas party and baked cookies. They had a great time. They are at Dottie's today baking cookies. Oh yummy, I love homemade cookies. As you can see from the picture taken yesterday Jackson thought he would create his own snow day with baby powder. Oh the fun times of a 2 1/2 year old. At least he smelled so fresh!

Holiday Baking

The boys and I have been doing some Holiday baking......well if you want to call it that :). Covered pretzel and some yummy little brownie muffins with those red/green strip chips on top. They both love helping with the decorating and eating the left over brownie mix.

Oh what little boys will do!!!!

Jackson decided last night to swallow a plastic stone thingy that goes on the top of a cheap ring. So you can guess what I had to do today! Yes, not fun but something that had to be done. So on his first bm I did not find the stone but I found a googly eye thing (that you would glue on a craft or something) I have no idea where he found that. I guess he decided to swallow that too. Anyway on the three bm of the day sure enough there was the stone!!!! THANKS Goodness!!!!

I'm so excited to report that my brother & sister in law, Mike and Amanda are now FRIENDS of the FFF! They bought 67 pairs of flip flops today! They rock and we are all thankful for their donation!

What are you thankful for?

It's hard to believe it's already November. Oh how time flys!!! I was just thinking to myself, what am I thankful for? First of course my family, friends, health, freedom, peace, an awesome job and so much more. Do you ever really know all the things you are thankful for? I'm looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with family and friends. May peace be within yourself.

MARK'S THE BIG 40 TODAY!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We celebrated his birthday over the weekend with his family. We had dinner and followed up with an ice cream cake from DQ!!!

My first field trip with Sam's class

So last Monday was my first field trip with Sam's class. OH what fun we had! Both Mark & I went to the pumpkin patch with 17 kindergartners. We had an awesome time. The kids were so good & sweet. We rode the bus, oh my there is not a lot of room between seats. Sam was really glad we were there. We rode the train, hay rack ride to get a pumpkin, picked apples and just about everything else that was available. I can't wait until next year!!!

Sam lost his second tooth

Sunday Oct. 5th Sam was getting ready for bed and lost his second tooth :). He was so excited. The tooth fairy brought him $4 and dollar short of his first tooth. He was still very happy. This is a picture of him when he lost his first tooth.

Sending 60 pairs of flip flops!!!!

We are sending 60 pairs of flip flops to KC. YAY! The boys and I have collected around 150 shoes to donate to children that don't have shoes. We found a missionary in KC that is working on filling up a semi truck of supplies!!! Check out flip flop fleet blog for more details!!! The Shelton's (Dawn & Lee) are amazing people!
